"Writing is my sanctuary—a way to release my thoughts, explore my emotions, and deepen my understanding of myself and the world around me."

-Dr. Alana

A Thinker is A Writer

My Writing is a Reflection of My Mind

Writing gives me space to reflect and share. Much of my inspiration comes from my clients and the work we do together, as well as my personal observations of life. I often record these thoughts in a diary, but the writing I release serves a purpose.

My first ebook addresses chronic stress—a challenge many of my clients face. I identified three main contributors: unhealed trauma, poor boundaries, and lack of discipline. The ebook shares practical strategies to alleviate stress and is free because I believe mental health resources, especially for Black people, should be accessible to all.

My upcoming book, You Deserve to Know, features affirmations, insights, and life philosophies that have resonated with my clients. It will be released in Fall/Winter 2024.
